The Nepalese Association of Colorado Springs (NACS) successfully hosted another session of “हाम्रो नेपाली कक्षा” on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Ruth Holley Library. The program focused on nurturing Nepali language and culture among children aged 5 to 15 years.

Learning Highlights

The class was highly productive and interactive, engaging children in a variety of fun and educational activities. Students:

  • Learned and practiced Nepali alphabets

  • Wrote their own names in Nepali

  • Explored festivals, colors, counting, days of the week, and months of the year

  • Participated in engaging quizzes and enjoyed light snacks

Teachers’ Contribution

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated teachers, Smita Bhattarai and Amit Bhandari, for creating a welcoming and enjoyable learning environment. Their interactive approach made the session not only educational but also fun, keeping the children curious and motivated.

Strengthening Cultural Roots

Programs like “हाम्रो नेपाली कक्षा” play a vital role in helping our younger generation stay connected to their language, traditions, and cultural identity while growing up in the United States.

We thank all the parents and community members for their continued support in making this initiative a success.
