About GAUTHALI

Directed by Kapil Rijal, Gauthali is a Nepali drama featuring Arun Chhetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, and Prakash Ghimire.

The story follows Gauthali, a young woman whose desire to pursue education intersects with the realities and challenges of married life. Through her journey, the film explores family, relationships, personal aspirations, social expectations, and the experiences of women navigating traditional structures.

The film has received a strong audience response in Nepal and has become one of the country's major box-office successes of 2026.
